The Cryptosporidium parvum qPCR kit is specifically engineered for the in vitro detection of C. parvum genomes. It is designed to have the broadest possible detection profile while remaining specific to C. parvum. Consequently, this kit is tailored to effectively detect and isolate this species in an in vitro environment. Through extensive bioinformatic analysis using all reference data within the NCBI database, the primer and probe sequences demonstrate significant homology (>95%) with a wide range of C. parvum genomes, while not detecting other closely related species.
