Nematoda, also known as roundworm, is the common name for all worms in the phylum Aschelminthes, Nematoda. It is one of the most abundant in the animal kingdom and is parasitic on humans, animals or living freely in soil, freshwater and seawater environments, even in rare places like vinegar and beer. They can also be found in plants. Plant nematodes are elongated, linear, and parasitic on plant roots, causing them to swell and become knotted, hence the name root-knot nematodes. There are about 13,000 known species, and most of them are heavily studied because of their medical, veterinary or economic importance. Animal parasites are found in almost all organs of the host, but most often in the digestive, circulatory and respiratory systems.
Plant parasitic nematodes are one of the major pathogens of crops, causing significant crop yield reductions and serious economic losses each year. Animal parasitic nematodes also seriously affect the health of animals. Nematode genomics research plays an irreplaceable role in revealing the molecular mechanisms of nematode-host interactions, the development of antinematode drugs for animals, and the breeding of nematode-resistant varieties of crops. With the wide application of high-throughput sequencing technology, the genomes of a variety of important parasitic nematodes have been deciphered and reported.
Ace Therapeutics provides genome sequencing and analysis of nematodes, aiming at deciphering the genomes of nematodes, providing in-depth studies on their biological characteristics, evolutionary features and regulatory genes, and providing more valuable information for the molecular mechanisms of nematode-host interactions, the development of anti-nematode drugs for animals, and the breeding of nematode-resistant varieties of crops.
We have a technical team with extensive experience in holography and can currently provide sequencing and analysis services for nematode at various genomic levels, as described below. Upon completion of the service, we will deliver a detailed report to you. If you want to know more, you are welcome to consult us.
We use this technology to perform comprehensive variation detection in nematodes, such as single nucleic first acid polymorphism (SNP), insertional deletion (InDel) and structural variation (SV), to deeply analyze all aspects of genetic variation, and to facilitate the discovery of novel and rare genetic variants.
We provide genome denovo sequencing and analysis services for nematodes. This technique allows access to the whole genome sequence of a nematode and is an important way to quickly understand the species.
We offer whole-exome sequencing (WES) and analysis services for nematodes. It is possible to mine low frequency mutations with higher accuracy.
We offer simplified genome sequencing and analysis services for nematodes. This approach offers the advantages of small sequencing volumes, cost-effectiveness and independence from the reference genome, enabling genome-wide high-throughput SNP screening and typing analysis.
We provide target sequence capture sequencing services for nematode. We can customize regions of different sizes for different applications, and use less data volume to obtain high sensitivity and accuracy, helping you to quickly screen for variant loci. All you need to do is provide the sample and candidate region, and we can complete the entire process from probe customization, hybridization, sequencing to bioinformatic analysis.
Sample requirements: each service is with independent sample requirements, please consult our technical engineers or sales staff for details.
Delivery content: experiment report.
