Coccidia is a parasitic sporozoite that can live in the intestinal wall cells of livestock and poultry as a protozoan microorganism. It is divided into giant Eimeria, Eimeria brucei, Eimeria pileus, Eimeria retardata, Eimeria toxicus, Eimeria tenderis and Eimeria prematureis. All types of coccidia have a fixed habitat, reproduce extremely rapidly and do not cross-infect each other. Rabbits invade the liver area; poultry occupy the intestinal wall, both can cause disease. There are a total of seven species of coccidia in dogs and cats, of which the most harmful is Isospora bigemina. The clinical signs of infection are generally more severe in young animals, and the sick animals show dehydration, anemia, wasting and weakness and die.
In recent years, it has been found that the increasing resistance of coccidia and their biological characteristics are not clear, so the research on the molecular biology of coccidia, the application of effective genetic engineering techniques for the genetic manipulation of chicken coccidia, or the technical means of high-throughput sequencing has become an important research direction for the control of modern coccidiosis.
Ace Therapeutics provides genome-level sequencing and analysis of coccidia with the aim of conducting in-depth studies on the biological characteristics, evolutionary features, and regulatory genes of coccidia for further prevention and control.
We have a technical team with extensive experience in holography and can currently provide sequencing and analysis services for coccidia at various genomic levels, as described below. Upon completion of the service, we will deliver a detailed report to you. If you want to know more, you are welcome to consult us.
We provide whole genome resequencing and analysis services for coccidias. Whole-genome sequencing of individuals or populations of coccidia with existing reference genome sequences can obtain genetic characteristics such as SNP, InDel, SV, CNV, and transposon variation on the genome, providing polymorphic marker information for genetic research and molecular breeding, and providing massive data for the study of species evolution and functional genomics.
We provide genome denovo sequencing and analysis services for coccidias. It provides a large amount of data support for subsequent studies on gene mining, species origin and evolution.
We offer whole-exome sequencing (WES) and analysis services for coccidias. Whole-exome sequencing only detects DNA in the exonic region, which is more clearly targeted, has deeper coverage, higher data accuracy, and is more economical, especially for analysis of a large number of samples. For the study of SNP, InDel and other variant types, mutations that are not identified by whole genome sequencing can be identified with high depth sequencing.
We offer simplified genome sequencing and analysis services for coccidias. It is fast, easy and low-cost to achieve genome-wide high-throughput SNP screening and typing analysis.
